How to delete yourself from Facebook if you have access to the account:
- Log in to facebook.com. This must be done with a PC.
- Then go to this link: https://www.facebook.com/help/delete_account
- Press "Delete Account"
- You must enter your password again.
- Your account will be deleted after 30 days. You can always log in again and cancel within these 30 days.
If you have forgotten your password, you must reset your password at https://www.facebook.com/login/identify?ctx=recover
If you do not have access to the e-mail or telephone number, it may be impossible to get this done.
How to delete the deceased on Facebook or create a memorial account
To change the profile to a memorial account, the deceased must select a memorial account administrator. This is done in the settings.
